Our Mission

The mission of the Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Disorders (CATSD) at MGH is to conduct state-of-the-art research aimed at improving the standard of care for people suffering from anxiety disorders.

Our faculty and staff of psychiatrists and psychologists explore the causes and treatments for anxiety disorders, including Panic Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Complicated Grief, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, while seeking to learn more about the underlying causes and course of Anxiety Disorders.


Anxiety Research Studies

Research studies provide the opportunity for staff and patients to work together on identifying and developing new treatment methods for a variety of anxiety-related disorders.
